It may come as a surprise,
But sitting has countless health risks. (especially if you have bad posture)
Stay with me for a moment,
Have you ever found yourself seated at your desk, feeling drained and low on energy,
Making it seem like even the thought of standing up was a challenge?
Well, that’s one of the effects sitting for a long period of time has
I could spend hours listing all the risks,
But, there are two main risks you need to worry about:
Increased risk of obesity
Decreased energy
Sounds exaggerated?
Well, It’s true.
Your body burns thousands of calories to keep you alive,
But what you do throughout your day affects how fast/slow it burns calories.
So, answer this question yourself:
Do you burn more calories walking,
Or sitting down hunched over?
I think you know the answer.
Remember this:
Every move you make counts towards a healthier you.
It's time to take a stand for your health and keep moving forward.
Here is the key:
Standing desk and Desk treadmill.
You must train the habit of standing or walking while working or consuming media.
You don’t need intense cardio.
I did most of those steps while working.
You also don’t need a strict meal plan.
Pick 4-5 reasonable meals you enjoy, adjust them to your goal calories with MyFitnessPal, and stick to them.
The fewer things you eat, the easier it is to stay lean.
Best wishes,
